Client Vivian: Updated the entire house. First was the bathroom, Oak Cabinets with some extras for the client, we had built in laundry hamper. Then all new wood windows through out the whole house. Customer insisted in wood, not vinyl. The trim is Gumwood stain which kept with all the natural trim that was in the house. Then we did a custom built kitchen, with Sugar Maple cabinets. Which all the cabinets had full extension draw slides. New floor, pulled down the old dropped ceilling, just doing that opened up the kitchen and made it brighter. The client loved her pantry sink for hand washing, so we kept that and added extra cabinets for her pantry so she would not have to be up and down the cellar stairs so much. We had insulation blown into the walls, which cut down on the heating and air conditioning. She updated the heating and added central air to the house. Added insulation to the walls of the basement for the same reason, to keep the cellar cooler during the summer and warmer during the winter. We stripped off all the old wallpaper and painted nice soft colors through out the whole house, ripped up the old capets had the floors sanded and brought them back to the beauty they once were. Then added Cellular shades to let the light filter in and solar screens in the kitchen and bathroom. Solar screeens let light in while letting you see out, the nice thing about solar screens is there is privacy, no one can see in. Solar screens are also energy efficent. Then on to window treatments. Customer was thriller.
